LG launches Optimus Mach with Android

The Consumer Electronics Show 2011 is in Las Vegas on January 6. The renowned brand LG is looking forward to unveil a new handset Optimus Mach. Post the announcement of the Optimus 2X, there is yet another phone from the Optimus family that arrives with Google Android 2.2 Froyo mobile OS. The elegantly designed handset sports a 3.8-inch display, along with HD video recording and playback. The estimated price of the handset is 80, 00,000 KRW (Korean Won) or $697 (Rs. 31,500 approx.).


The all new LG Optimus Mach LG-LU3000 has a 1GHz Texas Instruments OMAP-3630 microprocessor. Additionally, it features a 3.8-inch TFT LCD display that supports 800x480 pixel resolutions. The Mach runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo mobile operating system. Photography enthusiasts can make the most of the 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash. That is not all; users may record 720p HD videos and click images.

The phone also offers multimedia entertainment with the Dolby Mobile 2.0 certification for more vivid surround sound. Additionally the phone supports DivX in such a way that all your movies can be watched. Users may also plug in any standard pair of earphones in the 3.5mm audio port of the phone. The phone is equipped with an LG s U+Media feature that allows streaming video files to PC or IPTV.

The LG Optimus Mach incorporates SNS interface with which users may avail Twitter, Facebook and other updates on the phone's home screen with the SNS Widgets. This smartphone also offers GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi modules. Featuring 1500mAh battery the LG Optimus Mach offers better battery life comparatively more than the current generation Android handsets. This innovative handset will hit the Indian shores in a couple of months.
