Just last month at CES we witnessed the first wave of the upcoming tablet ocean, and now a mere month later, at MWC, we got a sense of how big this really is. Tablets were literally all over the congress – starting with major producers announcing their devices and ending with smaller companies pushing slates on the booming market. The majority of them – of course – come with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, but there were some like the HTC Flyer, running on an earlier version of the robotic OS.
There are companies however who took the steep road to differentiation with a different OS like the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G with support for LTE and HSPA+, which has a beautiful QNX-based OS. Some, like the ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro even went for dual boot Windows and Android. But which OS do you prefer? And what about the preferred size of the tablet?
